Stefan Kermas

Stefan Kermas is a fully qualified lawyer and two-time Olympic champion. He was a hockey Bundesliga coach for ten years and national coach of the men's national hockey team from 2017 to 2019. He is an independent organizational developer, trainer and keynote speaker for team performance.

At the age of 6, he held a hockey stick in his hand for the first time. From that moment on, it was clear that this sport and he belong together. At the age of 13, he got his first job as a coach. Even then, two things crystallized: his love of working in a team and the ability to get the best out of people.

Both qualities still define him today and were also essential for the greatest successes of his sports and coaching career. For example, his appointment as Bundesliga coach at the age of only 22, winning several German championships as head coach or the two Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012 with the men's national team as assistant coach.
